Product Description
Cold spray zinc coating
A new type of long-lasting, dual-action heavy-duty anti-corrosion material for steel, primarily composed of siloxane and high-purity zinc. It is the best alternative to traditional hot-dip galvanizing, hot-dip zinc plating, and thermal spray zinc (aluminum).
Characteristics
1. Provides excellent cathodic protection and barrier function for steel. Easy to apply, can be sprayed, brushed, or rolled.
2. Long-lasting: Zinc film pure zinc content ≥96%, salt spray resistance ≥5000 hours, coating system has an anti-corrosion cycle of over 25 years.
3. Environmental friendliness: Cold spray zinc coating does not contain toxic chemicals such as isocyanates or benzenes.
Uses
Suitable for heavy-duty anti-corrosion applications such as ships, steel bridges, steel structures, steel space frames, power facilities, pipelines, and storage tanks.
Basic Parameters

Coating system
Primer: Cold spray zinc coating
Midcoat (Subsequent coat): Epoxy coating, Polyurethane coating
Topcoat: Polysiloxane coating, Fluorocarbon coating, Epoxy coating, Polyurethane coating, etc.
Surface preparation
Bare steel: Blast cleaning to Sa2.5 (ISO8501-1:1998). Depending on exposure, power tool cleaning to a minimum of St2 (ISO8501-1:1998) may be used.
Application conditions
Application can be performed when the substrate temperature is between -20~50℃. When the substrate temperature is above 40℃, spraying must be used; application is not suitable when the substrate temperature is above 60℃.
Application methods
Spraying: Airless spray or air spray. High-pressure airless spraying is recommended. When using air spraying, attention should be paid to adjusting coating viscosity and air pressure.
Brushing: Recommended for pre-coating and small area applications, but must achieve the specified dry film thickness.

Packaging and Storage
Packaged and stored according to national regulations. Storage environment should be dry, cool, and well-ventilated, avoiding high temperatures and away from ignition sources. Packaging containers must be kept tightly sealed. Valid storage period is 12 months.
Packaging specifications
25kg/barrel
Precautions
Avoid heating before the coating is completely dry (at least 24 hours at 20℃). High-zinc coatings can form zinc salts (also known as white rust) on the surface, and should not be exposed for long periods before applying the subsequent coat. If zinc salts have formed, secondary removal treatment should be performed on the affected surface.
Health and Safety
Please pay attention to the warning labels on the packaging container. Use in a well-ventilated environment. Do not inhale paint mist and avoid skin contact. If paint splashes on skin, wash immediately with a suitable cleaner, soap, and water. If splashed into eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and seek immediate medical attention.
