JFML4001(832) Asphalt Antifouling Paint
An economic type of ship bottom antifouling paint composed of coal tar pitch, rosin, etc., as base materials, with cuprous oxide as the main toxicant and pigments, etc.
Main Features
Within one year, it effectively prevents marine fouling organisms such as barnacles, oysters, calcareous worms, bryozoans, and algae from fouling the ship's bottom. It keeps the ship's bottom clean and smooth, ensures the navigation speed is unaffected, and saves fuel.
It is a soluble type antifouling paint. As the toxicant in the paint film slowly leaches into seawater, the paint film of the antifouling paint also slowly dissolves, exposing new toxicant to continue leaching into the seawater.
Easy to apply, it can be applied by various methods such as airless spray, brush, or roller coating. When the film thickness meets the specified requirements, effective antifouling performance can be achieved.
Uses
Suitable for medium and small vessels and docks operating in seawater. Used as an antifouling paint to prevent fouling by marine organisms.
