JFM-L4402(831) Asphalt Antifouling Paint
Composed of coal tar pitch, rust-preventive pigments such as iron red oxide, body pigments, and coal tar solvents, etc.
Main Characteristics
The paint film has excellent water resistance;
Has good intercoat adhesion with L4401(830-1) Aluminum Powder Asphalt Antifouling Paint;
Has good alkali resistance;
Has good rust prevention performance;
Poor heat resistance of the paint film, not resistant to sun exposure;
Uses
It serves as an intermediate coat between L4401(830) Aluminum Powder Asphalt Antifouling Paint and ship bottom antifouling paint. It is suitable for ship bottoms as an anti-rust paint. It can also be used for anti-corrosion purposes on immersed steel structures such as condensing pipes, dock buoys, and tank interiors, as well as on the bottoms of wooden boats.
