An anti-corrosive paint composed of chlorinated rubber, rust-inhibiting pigments like red iron oxide, fillers, plasticizers, and additives.
Main Features
Low permeability of water vapor and oxygen to the paint film, excellent water resistance, and good anti-corrosion properties. Fast drying, several times faster than oil-based paints. Excellent low-temperature application performance, can be applied in environments from -20℃ to -50℃. The paint film has good adhesion to steel. Paint film layers inter-dissolve to form a single entity, providing excellent inter-coat adhesion. When re-coating chlorinated rubber old paint films, it is not necessary to remove the firmly adhered old paint film, making maintenance very convenient.
The paint film does not saponify and has good compatibility with cathodic protection. It has good durability.
Uses
This paint is suitable for anti-corrosion of docks, splash zones of offshore steel structures, external walls of chemical equipment, steel platform corridors, and other steel structures. It can also be applied to cement surfaces as a protective layer.
