Red Lead Epoxy Anti-corrosion Paint

  This paint is a two-component system. Component A is formulated from epoxy resin, red lead, body pigments, additives, and mixed solvents. Component B is the curing agent.
   Characteristics
  This paint can be cured at room temperature or by high-temperature baking. The cured coating has strong adhesion and excellent anti-corrosion performance, resisting corrosive media such as acids, alkalis, and salts. It is used as an anti-corrosion primer for the surface of steel structures, providing protection.

   Application Reference
  1. Before coating, the object to be coated should be surface treated. Sandblasting method is recommended, with a rust removal grade of Sa2.5. The treated steel surface should be free of rust, scale, and impurities. The treated surface should be coated with this paint within 8 hours.
  2. Before coating, Component A should be stirred evenly. Then, mix according to the paint ratio of Component A:Component B = 100:9 (by weight). After mixing evenly, allow 20 minutes for maturation before application. The prepared paint should be used within 4 hours.
  3. When spraying, use the matching thinner for this paint to adjust viscosity.
  4. Recoating interval is 20-48h at 20-25℃. The interval can be adjusted according to temperature. Application is not recommended when the temperature is below 10℃.
  5. Film thickness 40-50 micrometers (dry film).
  6. Theoretical coverage approximately 200-250 grams/square meter.
   Storage and Transportation
  The effective storage period is one year. Transportation should comply with relevant regulations of the transport department.
