This paint is a two-component system. Component A is zinc powder slurry; Component B is composed of alcohol-soluble polysilicate ester (ethyl silicate).
Characteristics and Uses
Fast drying, with limited cathodic protection. When the dry film is approximately 20μm, it can protect steel plates for 5-6 months, protecting them from corrosion from film formation after coating until the second surface treatment. Used for pre-treatment coating protection of bridges, pipelines, steel structures, docks, and drilling platforms.

Construction Reference
1. Application method: Spraying
2. Application viscosity: 15-20”/25℃ (Coating-4).
3. This paint is a two-component system, to be mixed and used immediately. Use up within 4 hours after mixing. The treated surface should meet Sa2.5 grade standard, and the paint should be sprayed promptly after treatment.
4. Before painting, components A and B should be stirred evenly separately. Then, mix them evenly according to the paint ratio of Component A: Component B = 2:1 before application. The surface temperature of the substrate should be 3℃ higher than the dew point. Humidity should be less than 80%, and it is not suitable for construction under strong sunlight.
5. If the prepared paint is too viscous and difficult to apply, it can be thinned with a thinner specifically designed for this paint.
6. After painting, tools and containers used should be thoroughly cleaned with thinner.
7. The dry film thickness is 20-25 micrometers; excessive thickness can easily lead to peeling and cracking. Theoretical consumption is 250-300g/m².
8. The effective storage period is half a year.
