Product Description
High Flash Point Safety Alkyd Paint
High Flash Point Safety Alkyd Protective Coating is a high flash point safety alkyd protective coating developed by Jinfeima Paint to meet the national requirements for hazardous chemical management. Its flash point is >60℃ (closed cup), complying with the requirements for non-hazardous chemical identification in the "Regulations on the Safe Management of Hazardous Chemicals". It has been identified as a non-hazardous chemical by authoritative institutions, solving the long-standing storage and transportation issues of alkyd coatings. It can be stored and transported as a general chemical. Furthermore, this product is also a high-solid, environmentally friendly coating, meeting the control requirements for VOC emissions from the Ministry of Environmental Protection and local governments, with a VOC content of less than 420g/L, complying with national painting VOC emission standards.
The resin is refined from selected natural flaxseed oil and natural soybean oil, using high flash point additives and solvents, and manufactured with internationally advanced "clean production" processes. The company possesses a full set of high-end testing equipment synchronized with the National Coatings Testing Center, allowing for self-testing of flash points. The product boasts excellent quality and advantages such as high flash point, high solids content, low VOC content, high hardness, fast drying, good brushability, vibrant colors, full coating film, good flexibility, strong adhesion, good outdoor weather resistance, and no long-term storage precipitation. It addresses the drawbacks of traditional alkyd coatings, such as being toxic to the human body, strong odor, poor environmental performance, and pollution to the surrounding environment.

Composition
High Flash Point Safety Alkyd Paint is prepared by grinding and blending high flash point alkyd resin, pigments, high flash point solvents, and fillers.
Features
This product has a closed cup flash point >60°C, complying with the requirements for non-hazardous chemical identification in the "Regulations on the Safe Management of Hazardous Chemicals". It is classified as a non-hazardous chemical and can be transported and stored as ordinary goods. It is safer and more convenient. It also has higher brightness, shorter touch-dry time, and better vibrancy compared to ordinary alkyd paints.

Usage
Widely used for protection and decoration of indoor and outdoor general railings, steel structures, mechanical equipment and other steel surfaces, and wooden components. Theoretical coverage: 7~8m/kg (based on 25-35 micrometers dry film, excluding loss).
Application Suggestions
This product can be applied by spraying, brushing, or rolling. It is recommended to apply multiple thin coats, with a single coat dry film thickness of 25-35 micrometers, and recoating interval of more than 24 hours. Do not apply a thick single coat, as it will affect drying and hardness.
Compatible Coatings
Previous coating: Alkyd primers or intermediate paints. If using primers not from our company, please conduct tests first to avoid affecting product performance due to incompatibility. Our company shall not be responsible for problems caused by non-compatible products from other companies.
Safety Technical Specifications
1. This product is a non-hazardous chemical and can be stored or transported as a general chemical.
2. Waste paint residue and empty paint drums must be collected and placed according to regulations and must not be disposed of arbitrarily.
3. The product should be stored indoors, away from direct sunlight, open flames, heat sources, strong acids, alkalis, and oxidizing agents, and out of reach of children.
4. In case of accidental ingestion, immediately induce vomiting with warm water and seek medical attention.
5. The construction site should have good ventilation, and open flames are strictly prohibited at the construction site.
Construction Precautions
1. Skinning and sedimentation after opening the can.
Skinning: If skinning occurs after opening the can, please remove it with a filter screen before normal application. Most skinning is caused by agitation during long-distance transportation, allowing air to enter, and the paint film reacting with air, forming a protective layer on the surface. During application, please have the applicator remove the skin with a sieve, filter it with a filter screen, and then proceed with normal application. This will not affect any product quality indicators!
Sedimentation: If there is sedimentation, please use a stirring rod to determine if it is soft or hard sediment at the bottom of the drum. If it can be easily stirred evenly, this is normal and within the standard range. If the sediment is very hard and difficult to stir, it is beyond the normal range, and it is recommended to stop application and return it directly to the manufacturer.
2. Dilution: When adjusting viscosity with a thinner during application, please use our company's compatible exempt solvents or high flash point industrial coating general thinner. After adding, stir vigorously for 3-5 minutes until completely dissolved. Do not use inferior thinners available on the market, as this product is environmentally friendly, and adding other thinners will not only reduce product quality but also affect its environmental performance.
3. Construction tools: This paint can be applied by air spraying, brushing, or rolling. Rolling may cause bubbles; using a short-pile roller can reduce bubble formation. Do not apply when relative humidity is above 85%. Strictly prohibit construction in rainy, snowy, or foggy weather. After application, protect the film from rain and impact before it dries completely. Each spray coat should be 20-25um thick. The second coat can only be applied after the first coat is completely dry. It can be air-dried or low-temperature baked (maximum temperature not exceeding 60°C).
4. Substrate treatment: Before construction, remove oil stains, impurities, dust, and rust from the substrate. The surface to be coated should be clean, smooth, free of oil stains, dust, wax, etc. If there is an old coating film on the substrate, it must be uniformly sanded with fine sandpaper before application. Please conduct a test before construction to avoid reactions with old coating films that may affect product performance longitudinally.
