Inner Mongolia Jinlian Aluminum Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") was established in October 2010 with a registered capital of 10.5 billion RMB. It is a mixed-ownership enterprise jointly invested by Hangzhou Jinjiang Group Co., Ltd., Inner Mongolia Mining (Group) Co., Ltd., and Inner Mongolia Holinhe Coal Industry Group. It is a high-tech enterprise recognized by the Science and Technology Department of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The company has 5 wholly-owned subsidiaries and 6 joint-venture subsidiaries, with more than 2800 employees.
The company's main business is the production of high-quality primary aluminum. It plans to build a primary aluminum production line with an annual output of 2 million tons, a self-owned power plant with a total installed capacity of 3040MW, and a 5 million-ton annual coal mining project.
