China First Heavy Industries Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as CFHI) is one of the central government-managed key state-owned enterprises that are crucial to national security and the lifeblood of the national economy. It is a national innovative pilot enterprise and a national high-tech enterprise, possessing the National Engineering Research Center for Heavy-duty Technical Equipment, the National R&D Center for Major Energy Equipment Materials, and a national-level enterprise technology center.
CFHI has the full-coverage manufacturing capability of nuclear island primary loop nuclear power equipment. It is a leader in China's nuclear island equipment, an internationally advanced supplier and service provider of nuclear island equipment, and the world's largest supplier of hydrocracking reactors for refineries and a full-process equipment supplier for metallurgical enterprises. It mainly provides major complete sets of technical equipment, high-tech products, and services to industries such as steel, non-ferrous metals, power, energy, automobiles, mining, petroleum, chemicals, and transportation, as well as national defense and military industries, and conducts related international trade. Main products include nuclear island equipment, heavy containers, large castings and forgings, special products, metallurgical equipment, heavy forging and pressing equipment, mining equipment, and mining accessories. In nearly 70 years, it has provided over 5 million tons of machinery products for national economic construction, developed and researched more than 400 new products, filled more than 400 gaps in domestic industrial product technologies, and created hundreds of "firsts." It has successively ended the history of China's inability to produce heavy equipment, complete sets of machinery products, and nuclear power, not only driving the overall improvement of China's heavy machinery manufacturing level but also strongly supporting the development of national defense and the national economy.
